Just posting an update to the contest, folks! Got two entries so far and I'm just giving it a lil bump to see if anyone else my be interested in it.

Alright folks, I have a contest for a semi-reoccurring character that will appear in Episode 4, and other future works. I have not had luck designing the character at all, and thought it may be fun to see who may wanna get a character into the comic. lol.

So here are the basics, the character is a female naga of indefinite age. She has had some connection to Preacher in the past, and is an expert on gathering information on the criminal and super natural worlds. They do not have a friendly relationship, but one of pure business. She was born in Mexico City, but now lives in the arid plains to the north of it.

Other than that its open to interpretation.

Rules:
1. No nudity.
2. Entries must be in color.
3. Send me a note with a link to your picture once it is posted.
6. Lazy Bone Staff are not prohibited from joining, but will receive no special treatment in judging.
6. It is not required, but if possible please include back story and/or stats to the naga. I need stuff like that so when I draw her in the comic, so can have all things in proportion to other folks.
i.e. - Height, length, etc.


Prizes:
The winner gets a 5 page mini-comic, and a guest appearance in Toast as a customer. Also your design gets added to the comic.

The contest will run from now until August 1st.

I am really hoping for some takers on this, and feel the prizes are fair. lol. So shout if you want in.

Preacher out!

Alright so I am bored and wanted to give everyone a little insight into my mind. A little egoistical, but I do not do selfish stuff much. So bleh! lol. Anyway here is a little bit of info.

I AM - A Christian
I do identify myself by my religion. It is a guiding factor in my life. I try to live a life like Christ, and to show my faith by action. I am not a regular church goer, but rather read the Bible and try to live by the teaching of Jesus. Try to live a life free of being judgmental, or condemning. Though I am very hard on members of my own faith.

I AM - in love with
She is the love of my life and helps me to strive to be a better person. She is the sweetest and best thing in my life right now. Also she is a big nerd like me. lol.

I AM - a human.
I belief as humans we must all work together, and strive to better the world we live in. Truthfully at this stage of existence we are the only thing we got to help ourselves. A little bit of humanitarianism influences all my actions.

I AM - not white.
I am of a Hispanic/Celtic decent. I am proud of my heritage. I come from long proud histories. I embrace all aspects of my ancestry. If you think my Irish and Scot roots are white, look in a history book. They were some of the first minorities to be persecuted in this country.

I AM - in favor of English only.
Part of my family came across the border in the 1930's. They learned English and adjusted to the lifestyle here in the States. I am in favor of programs to teach immigrants English, instead of making the rest of the nation learn multiple languages.

I AM - a gentleman.
Ask my girl friend, I am a gentleman. I believe a man must always treat a woman with respect, and behave in such a manor to show it. Pull out chairs, open doors, walk her to house, and all the other.

I AM - a Southerner.
I have been raised in the deep South. I have been raised in one of the only regions of the country to have a distinctive culture, good or bad. I can do much more than other due to my place of birth, due to what you have to or inadvertently learn here.

I AM - a modern Populist.
I am for a government of the people for the people that really is for the people. I believe that the foundation of this nations government is the people, and that they are not adequately
represented at this moment.

I AM - an artist.
I like to draw and doodle. I like to push my art harder and forward to improve.

I AM - a historian.
I look at were we have been to see where we are going. I look at the long term, because I see a band aid on a severed limb as no solution at all. This aspect of my life has made me thing logically, and analytically.

Enough ego for one night.

In art news, doodled up a storm last night and got three pics drawn, now to add them to the list of stuff needing to be scanned. Which will become smaller soon. Just working this week so will get some stuff done. No campers to distract me. So yay!

Other news about me....not much. Working and sleeping. Got a bike to ride around for exercise and short trips. lol.

GO SEE WALL-E! It is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is funny, and has little to no actual dialog in it. Which makes it even better, because it has to over come that obstacle. It is great! Also it has a good message in it.

Well time for me to get to work.

Alright so the contest is going about as I expected it. lol. Got two entires, but may have more soon. I am happy with the turn out for now.

In school news starting tomorrow, once all kids are out, I am free! I do not have to be on duty from tomorrow night until the sixth of July. So woot! Bad news with that is I am not on duty when the food places close. So, I do not get a meal voucher. I am on my own for food, which is no big deal. Mainly because I have 76 dollars of flex cash I gotta kill today, so if everything is open until seven like I have been told, I will be going to the SUB to get alot of random bs. lol. Gunna head there in just a sec. So I may have a plethera of such snacks and bs so I do not have to deal with being broke to get food. lol.

In art, I am working on seven comics plus random art. So expect some silly shit soon. I am really excited about the Shifting Wyld comic with since it is based off of the silly ass Exalted game we have been playing off and on for two years. lol. He is coloring and inking it. So woot. That will be some bad assery by the end of the summer or year.

In games still sorta playing FFXII so I can say I beat the damn thing. I have been too busy to play much though, so may still be a while before I do.
